"Prove It"

"Prove It" is our new slogan for the rest of the season, for our coed U11 team. I got tired of hearing the kids talk about which teams were better and which teams were worse, so I explained that who we think is good or bad really doesn't matter, we need to "prove it" on the field during the match.

Our opponent last night did prove that they were better than us. We scored first but they led 4-2 at halftime and 8-2 at the end of the game. They are now 5-0 with 3 shutouts so for us to score 2 goals against them is a decent accomplishment.

Leighton scored his 3rd goal of the year and Dejah scored her first on this team, so now we have 6 different players scoring goals in our first 4 games.
